“Liv came to do my wedding make-up practice with a weeks notice for the wedding 2 weeks later! She is very flexible and understood everything I wanted. After the practice I decided to change the hair style and even then she wasn’t phased! The hair looked fantastic, she made my Mother and Mother-in-law look very stylish and natural which they both loved. She’s a very calm and calculated make up artist and made me feel at ease and everything was completed on time. She even made me an emergency touch up kit with my lip colour in, powder, hairspray and grips. So I didn’t need to panic if my hair fell out. Liv you were a star! “For as long as I can remember, I have done my make up the same way and for the most part, have never really been happy with the outcome. So now at the age of 31 and sick of putting up with some of the issues I think we all have (eyeliner that won’t stay put, applying cover up to those dark circles that ends up looking caked on and unnatural, not really knowing what colours suit my skin tone) I felt it was about time to consult a professional!
Liv was great. Punctual, personal and really informative without being condescending! She came prepared and is a wonderfully nice teacher. I finished the session with all my questions answered and feeling confident to do my make up better. She said something that I had never thought of before and that will stick with me now - “Make up is about enhancing and complimenting your features, not covering them up!” Which I think had previously been my mistake. What was particularly good was that she was keen to use all my own products, meaning that I didn’t need to go out and buy every little thing to complete the look later on my own.

When she arrived for the trial for my bridesmaid and me she had already a plan of what to trial based on the photos I had sent her. She shared her ideas and tried a few different things on both of us until we were both happy.

On the morning of the wedding Liv arrived promptly and well prepared- she had the hair and make-up plan for both of us, including photos to ensure she recreated the looks we’d fallen in love with.

“As soon as I met Liv at my hair trial she put all my worries at rest. While I had ideas of what I wanted, I wasn’t expecting her to hit the nail on the head so perfectly or so quickly! She was friendly, and offered so much choice. The trial itself was not just choosing options, it was a fun afternoon with someone who was genuinely interested in you and your day. The service provided was professional and efficient (very important when you have 4 bridesmaids and a bride to get through) but the overall result of the hair and make up was perfect - all my girls were thrilled with their look for the day! I was so happy, I felt every inch the beautiful bride and this is what every girl wants for her big day!
Communication was easy and friendly and any questions or requests I had were answered quickly and in full, this was so important as I had so many things to worry about when planning the big day it was a breath of fresh air to know you are working with someone interested and willing to help. A massive example of this was my bridesmaids, as they all wanted different hairstyles, Liv took this all in her stride and was so flexible with getting everyone sorted.
For the big day, Liv was there bright and early ready to get started, as this was 6am it is a credit to her that she was as friendly and fun as she was at the trial!

“Liv has done my makeup for a few of my photoshoots and it was, put it simply, amazing. And so I have decided to book a makeup lesson with her to teach me how to recreate the look.

I was never very confident with using bronzer, fake eyelashes, contouring my face or painting eyebrows. Liv has taught me how to do everything step by step and also helped me choose good and affordable products to buy to complete my look.
